Measures to be Taken in Hotels for Coronavirus
While the coronavirus effect is still ongoing, what precautions will hotels take in this regard? We explain the precautions to be taken in this article.
According to the circular prepared by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, businesses will prepare a protocol containing coronavirus (Covid-19) and hygiene rules. In this protocol, the attitude of the staff to the guest showing symptoms of the disease and the procedures to be applied will be defined.
A social distance plan will be prepared by the hotels. Alcohol-based hand antiseptic or disinfectant will be available in common areas.
Facility employees will be given periodic basic training on the plans and protocols to be implemented. At the same time Facilities that meet 132 criteria under different headings, from the guest's entrance to the hotel to emergency and isolation, will also be able to receive a certificate.
A Limited Number of Guests Will Be Accepted!
ItThe hotels will be able to accept a certain number of guests while maintaining social distance rules. The body temperatures of the guests will be measured by thermal camera or non-contact temperature measurement when entering the facilities.
And also to facility employees. Body temperature measurements will be made with a thermal sensor at the entrance and exit of work, and it will be recorded and tracked with biometric facial descriptions.
Hotel Rooms and Furniture Will Be Frequently Disinfected!
In hotel rooms, hand-contact surfaces and items such as phones, kettles, door-window handles, remote controls will be disinfected when the guest leaves the room. Filters of air conditioners and ventilation systems will be changed frequently. ŞNecessary arrangements will be made to ensure that sets such as shampoo, soap, cups, plates, forks and knives are disposable.
There Will Be a Social Distance of 1.5 Meters Between Tables!
While the distance between tables serving food in the facilities is determined as 1.5 meters, the distance between adjacent chairs will be 60 centimeters.
Disposable salt shakers, pepper shakers and napkin holders will be available on the table. If the open buffet application is continued, the food in the buffet will not be taken by the guests and a glass shield will be placed to prevent contact with the food.
Precautions Will Be Taken at Pools and Beaches!
The chlorine level in the pool water will be kept at 1-3 ppm in outdoor pools and 1-1.5 ppm in indoor pools, and these values will be recorded periodically.
Beach-pool towels will be given to guests in closed bags or by the staff on duty. Toilets, showers and changing cabins around the pool and beach will be cleaned and disinfected frequently.
Children's Areas Will Be Closed!
Units such as play rooms, children's clubs, and playgrounds reserved for children will not be put into service within the facility.
